Black Russian

A Manhattan is a cocktail made with whisky, sweet vermouth, and bitters. While rye is the traditional whiskey of choice, other commonly used whiskies include Canadian whisky, bourbon, blended whiskey, and Tennessee whiskey.

Ingredients

• 45ml Buffalo Trace Bourbon
• 30ml Carpano Antica Formula Sweet Vermouth
• 15ml Green Chartreuse
• 7.5ml Simple Syrup
• 1 dash Orange Bitters
• 1 dash Angostura Butters
• Garnish – Orange Peel

Instructions

• Add all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice and stir for 20 seconds
• Using a julep strainer, strain into a cocktail glass.
• Express the oil from an orange peel over the drink, then discard peel.
